The primary mission of NICCL is to join together with other libraries to explore new emerging technologies, seek out best technology practices, obtain technology training, see vendor demonstrations of new technology or services, and negotiate pricing of technology hardware/software purchases and technology support services all for the benefit of the communities that we serve.

*Proactive Scheduled Maintenance

*Assistance in Development of Technology Plans to provide seamless integration of technology and achieve cost-effective individualized plan that mirrors organization's long-range goals & objectives

*Assistance with Development of Bid Specification Documents.  After bids are received, the Technology Consultant analyzes each for compliance with specifications and makes a recommendation based on greatest value comparing cost versus performance.

*Serves as Liaison Between the Members and Vendors to ensure the best interests of the Members are served.

*Coordinates Meeting and Site Visits as Needed and Interacts with Other Technology Experts to assist in implementation of new technology.
